I'm a bit surprised by the comments on learning the layout, I think it is easy enough to grasp within a minute. I have certain requirements in terms of base defense and captures, that favours a certain kind of play style, and by which I judge all ctf maps, that depends on having to go out to pick up the rail gun to bring it back to the base, makes the quad all about control of the middle and sets up an intuitive flow of item pickups for flag captures with respect to the RL, MH and armours. The bases should also be roomy enough to encourage risk taking for nail-biting flag captures. For me this is the ideal for all CTF maps and I feel should be taken into consideration from the get-go in the early planning stages. These considerations always decide how well a ctf map plays. This has all of that in spades. I also really liked the cleanness of the texturing. I know it sounds like a cliche, and hardly bears repeating, to say that texturing doesn't need to be fancy, it only needs to be consistent. But this is a clear example of why this is the case. Really not much I could say bad about this.

"Beefster" your fookin' name makes me hungry every time I read it...sounds like a name of a bitchin' sandwich. This map takes a little learning, but its worth it. Very enjoyable.

Good map! I like the whole complexity of the layout. There are very nice architectural details, over all it looks like a crossbreed between gothic castle and industrial facility.
