Hello this is my first post to this site. The reason is that i have the levels on my widgets and I love the eye candy. I play Revolution 3 all the time and wish I could get it for my powerbook ( I will I will) but when I do I will be asking FAQs as to how to; meanwhile thanks for the eye candy the work the guys and gals do is wonderful and appreciated by me
the only carbon copy is q3 from q2. only diff is a couple of new weaps and prettier graphics with alittle gameplay tweakage. i love both games for their own strengths. but to say ut is unoriginal and sucks is totally moronic. :oP
I agree with RiO, UT is a crappy copy with a half-assed 3D engine a remake of a UT in Quake III Arena makes it look all Blocky since it was made for a Stupid Ripoff and were all used to the buitiful curvitures of Quake III
I don't think I made myself clear. UT is for Llamas, it is a carbon copy of Q3A done badly, the maps are unoriginal and suck, and anybody found porting UT maps to Q3A should be shot.
No, not another UT masterpiece of map here! (I'm not dissing Q3A, both are great games IMO) its okay to convert q1 and q2 maps but UT is a different game, and the styles can't be mixed, anyways its still OK.
good work, mark. this map is not an exact conversion but it's a good thing. i liked transparent floors and walls. the bfg is balanced out by the railgun due to low gravity.
Aside from the fact that conversions from UT are invariably rubbish and should be illegal (why inflict UT on us noble Q3A players?), this map has been made fairly well, but the BFG kills and low Gravity is never fun outside Ziggurat Vertigo (Q1).
