custom bots you bet, there are 7 bots in the bot_pak, four of which
will load on the skirmish menu. But to have them use the
new headmodel cvar, you will need to have the latest
patch version 1.25 installed.

bot_pak place the bot_pak in your /baseq3 folder
how to play place manic4c1.pk3 in your /baseq3 folder
start quake3 arena go to skirmish menu then
click through the map list until you see manic4c1.
Four of the new custom bots will be listed for you.
Alternatively you can bring down the console
with the "Tilde" ~ key
type /map manic4c1
type /addbot <botname> <skill>
bot names 1. manicjnr
hit ~ (to clear the console)
Note: If the map does not start automatically after loading then make
sure you have the SV_PURE variable set to 0, "this however shouldn't be
necessary as the map is in .pk3 format".
