- Install and Play Instrutions -
Place "q3crypt.pk3" in your Quake 3 Arena "baseq3" folder. If you have patched your original install with the latest point release the map will show up in the in-game menu system, otherwise type "map q3crypt" in the console. "The Crypt" can be played with upto eight players comfortably and is great for Tournament games.

This here map is the result of a request received by a couple of fellow Quake players. Based on a Quake map I was asked to create a Quake 3 Arena counterpart,,, and here it is. I would like to thank the creator of the original quake map but I was unable to locate the author because the .bsp had no text file with it. If you by chance recognize the map layout and know who the author is please let me know so I may give them due credit. Because the entity placement and basic layout was based on both the original map and the gentlemen I made the map for I cannot take credit (or flames) on the gameplay of the map, All I did was the architecture and texturing. I hope you enjoy it.
