Lovely and original piece of work.

Liked the eastern style music, it really gives the level a very unique feel.

8 from me too.

I think you are right, and a good reviewer as well (do you run a review site? If so, tell me the address:)

thanks for your double 5... does it mean 10?

Yeah! It's as you said! The sexual metaphore is not a coicidence... and the quad is the top of being powerfull!!

I like this map. Even with just 2 players, it plays OK. But 4 players would be optimum. I was going to complain that being on the railgun platform was too much of an advantage, but then Ranger acivated the surprise trap door and got me. Nice touch. Interesting ride to the quad damage. Hmmm, are you suggesting that getting the quad is like have an ...... er, never mind. Good map.

I thought this map looked cool, but that's about it. The gameplay was straight-up boring, not to mention slooooooow. This map took a bite out of my system- 995mhz Celeron and GTS. The bots seemed to wander around quite a bit, lost and confused.

Totally experimental it seems- not all experiments succeed. This guy's other maps are much better IMHO. Guns of Navarrone is much more fun.

Just a 5 from me.

It's an interesting map, but its the first of his trio (though Guns of Navarone received the first review, it was made second) and it shows. Quint's aim through these maps was to explore physics, first vertically (with this map), then laterally (with GON), and finally both ways (with his recently released and rather awe inspiring "Wisdom Machine).

Most importantly, the gameplay has consistently gotten better each map. Birth Machine is more a gimmick map than anything, with not too much real gameplay. GON was definitely getting there, with traps playing an active role but not messing up the fighting (well, if you don't count bots :-p). The final installation is both great fun to look at and play in, with the bots performing just fine. Great to see someone improving so much :-)

Still, this is worth the download.

P.S. 8 from me.
