I kind of like this space map. Its original and new although the textures are quite bad. 8/10.

The author recommends 2-6 players, i would suggest 6-8. Otherwise it just becomes painstaking. But dont bother to up the frag limit - most items are precariously placed.

This is a lovely space map, just big enough for 4 or 5, and small enough that you never get lost without being cramped. Plays nice and fast too, and the layout is such that even the RG doesn't guarantee victory. Highly recommended.

This map is probably the best I've played. I like big open areas where you can almost always see it coming and this one does that beautifully. The game-flow is a bit off, but I find that the killing-point shifts from the rocket-launcher/red-armour area, to the shotgun by the double health and then across to the pre-rail-platform jump-pad. I love it that the point of agression is not always in one place. Falling off the whole time? Doesn't happen if you watch where you're going. I play this level with 6 bots on Hardcore and it rocks. Bloody, fast and fun. My only complaints are that I wish there was a bit more health and that the looooong jump over the Quad had a bit more point behind it (Making a jump like that for a Plasma gun just doesn't seem worthwhile).

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the flow on this map sucks? The jump pads give you barely any indication of where you are going to land and the framerate dogs a bit. It's a good effort, I just don't think it's going to last on my harddrive. I have yet to see a really good space map, and I am hoping someone does it soon. As for the guy that commented that space maps need walls so that you don't fall off..well...how about...THAT'S THE BLOODY POINT! Now, if you are just walking and falling off the edge, well it looks like you need to learn the layout a little better, now doesn't it. Just my $2 x 10^-2.

Well I downloaded this off Fileplanet a while ago, it's here now so I can comment. Overall, a real nice job. I was
REAL happy when Id added the space map type so that we would no longer be trapped in the world of gothic maps. And this is a nice space map. IMO this map makes a nice change from dm19, both being "layered" space maps. My main gripe would be the BFG being not far from the flight powerup/ammo... it's been said but maybe could you just release a second with that changed, it'd kick sum ass then. Anyhow, thank you for the RG platform for Railwhores everywhere (I'm included in that category) and plz make more. Oh yeah. 8 outa 10.

Hmmm. The map is fun for about 20 minutes but the novelty wears off pretty quickly.
The map is fairly unbalanced and very easy to dominate. The nature of the RG and it's placement mean that the use has an almost perfect vantage point. Still at least EraserX didn't put health on the platform as well.
The extra long jump from the purple sponge gun to the RL platform high up is a death trap to anyone with even basic RG skills.
If you ask me (and I know you're not) the game play and fun contained in much more drab looking DM17 are far superior to this map.
Nevertheless, as I said at the start you can have a lot of fun on this map particularly if you're just f*cking about. The hole in the floor are cool bit the combination of RL and RGs in such close proximity to various jagged edges just promote minus scores in poor players and RG/RL camping in good players.
For serious play I wouldn't recommend it. As a warm up I would.

Also great map! I dwnloaded this one almost 2 weeks ago and had a blast. Space maps are my fav. I'm working on one too but with a gothic twist. It uses both goth and base sets.
We need more space maps damnit :-)

Fun for a little while, but lacking in long term replayability. You do fall through the floor a little too much for my liking. Not quite a keeper, but nothing wrong with the construction itself.

This is an ok map... but the Flow of the map is not very good. Also the level dosent show up in the skermish mode.

How come this doesn't show up in game with UIArena? It's the only custom map that doesn't, and I can't figure it out. Help please? Sucks to have to use console when you have UIArena. Thanks in advance.
btw, the level is great...that's why I want it to show up like the others!
