Ok, so I did the rcon command "bot_enable 1", and it said that it would go into effect after a server restart. After I restart the server, I still can't add bots, whenever I do "rcon addbot" into console, the bot isn't added, and I get no response back, same as before. Also, I noticed that even after I restart the server after performing "rcon bot_enable 1", I run that command again, and I get the same response as before, telling me that the command would go into effect after a server restart. Is this normal?

I don't know if this is just my remote console being unresponsive, but when I try to type the command you gave me into the console, nothing happens, not even a message after I enter the command. In fact, no commands that I enter seem to do anything. My server provider is EOReality.net and my online control panel is from TCAdmin. Any ideas?

Hello everybody,
I recently started a Quake Live server, and I was wondering how to add bots. I am already admin on the server, but there is no option to add bots in the pause menu, and the command "/addbot" doesn't work. I looked through the server configuration files, but found no mention of anything to do with bots anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everybody. I have been looking for a mod for Quake III that allows more than 2 teams to play at CTF, but to no avail. Any help in finding one, if any even exist in the first place, would be greatly appreciated!

907 days : In Command /cg_shadows "2" Not Working? Ioquake3

I suppose this is technically a solution, but not the one I'm looking for. I remember cg_shadows "2" looking better than this, and I also play in first person, not third person, but thanks anyway! I looked on the ioquake3 github page for the opengl2 renderer, and at the bottom, it said that cg_shadows had "broken bits". So does this mean that setting it to "2" won't work no matter what?

Hello everybody. I was changing the cvar settings in my q3config.cfg file for Ioquake3 for best video quality, and I came across a problem. Whenever I set /cg_shadows to "2", the shadows do not appear in-game. Setting it to "0", "1", and "3" work just fine, it's just "2" that doesn't work. 2 was the best looking setting out of the 3, so I wanted to change that cvar to "2", but it just doesn't work. Any ideas? I am running the latest test build of Ioquake3.
