Hey Tig, I noticed on some map reviews that have links to other maps, that if you click on the link it sends you to the House Of The Rising Sun (2) map instead of the correct one. It was happening on the GON2 - Back to Navarone and gon3 reviews, but it could be on others as well.
And good to know that there is a donate page now :D I'm only 17 and don't have a bank account yet, but my parents were thinking of setting one up for me with PayPal support for online use, so as soon as I can I'll be sure to donate :)
Welcome back FistMarine! I was actually gonna make a thread asking about you just a few days before you came back, but I guess this answers it :P
On a slightly different note though, I just noticed that you have 2267 map votes! Which makes me wonder if you'd be the highest reputation member if all of those old votes went towards reputation :P
@KommissarReb: You're probably right. I guess it was pretty much a pointless thread, I just wasn't sure whether you needed to get in contact with him or not, so if there was any chance it was him, I thought I'd mention it anyway.
Not just Jedi Academy, but Jedi Outcast too ;D I like to stick to many games from that era for nostalgic reasons. That sounds pretty interesting though, unfortunately I've been too sick for the last year to play much of anything or keep up to date with things, so it will probably be a while before I check that out.
And don't worry about it haha, to be honest I don't know why people get so upset about old threads being bumped anyway. With the "exactly a year ago" thing though, who are you referring to? :P
I remember when I started playing the Quake 3 demo online back in 2005, the servers were always active. Sure I was pretty newbish back then, but it was always good fun! Nowadays there is barely any servers that aren't just filled with bots. What I don't get is why there are some servers which are filled with a dozen or so spectators and the only ones playing are bots?
I've seen a few Quake 4 servers still going, I haven't played on them much but there was usually 4-8 players.
Sorry for the late reply.
@KommissarReb (SW12): I haven't been on JA for a while now, but I've noticed that he would be on the most filled server. It is a pretty fun game though. I'm usually just messing about on the online servers so I don't make demos haha.
@leilei: Maybe not, but it could have been him. What are the chances that a person that plays Quake would also play JA? They are from around the same era, I know a lot of people that play both. And by the looks of it, KommissarReb does too.
I'd love to send in some reviews but I've had some health problems for a couple of months and I can't really do a great deal of anything until it's fixed. A shame too because I'm on Christmas holidays :(
I've never actually made a review before though, mainly because I don't think I'd do a good job at it.
I remember seeing a post somewhere before (I think by KommissarReb (SW12)) about a person who used to post frequently on this site by the name of lol and was wondering where he went. Well I don't know if this is the same guy, but I was playing Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy online a few days ago and noticed a player with the same name. I would have asked him about it but I didn't think of it until after I left the server.
Ohhh, that was the prank haha. I didn't even know what it was, I thought that the site was down for some unique kind of maintenance :P Out of curiosity, what happens if you press "yes"? (don't want to press it myself lol)
