Outsider from Spike is another game play focused release that is hitting all the right buttons except for one. The layout, items and fun factor are all present and excellent. The only thing missing is a coherent visual. On the scale of things to be lacking, the mishmash of textures and theme really are minor.

The map is a series of featured spaces around a central room that holds a Rocket Launcher on the lower area and a Rail Gun at the top. It is these outer spaces that you seamlessly move between and encounter opponents in that makes this tight environment so enjoyable against either humans or bots.

Best suited for 3 player DM or Tourney matches with the Challenge ProMode Arena (CPMA) mod. If you are playing bots, swap Crash out for one of the others.

Load the map up and give it a good run. It will grow on you.
