I don't know what map i was playing then - it must be just me. Firstly the jump pads and accelerator pads are limited in their use. If you try deviating from their set paths you all too often end up in the red fog below or banging against a wall at best. Stick too them and you are an easy target. The upper corridors are full of protrusions that i found inhibited rather than aided movement. The camping spot is pointless and neednt have been there. Playing piggy in the middle at the shotgun makes you think twice about getting it - with a rocket gun nearby - why bother! This set up works well in other maps (senndm2, dark pact duel) because the main area isnt flat with unidirectional pads as your only means of escape but multidirectional. And what youre going for is worth the risk. Overall the majority of frags end up feeling like cheap shots that leave a bitter aftertaste in your mouth. No laughs no wows. I understand this is the maps point but there are so many challenging maps with better connectivity that make you feel good afterwards - win or lose. The author hasn't faired much better in his other map either. Having only 1 way to the quad means whoever has it ends up controlling the map. There will be no meaningful showdowns up top. I dont mean to be so negative but i just didnt get it.Not registered

I agree with all the previous statements, and I'll add that I really dig the nooks and crannies where items are placed. Also, while playing the map, it felt and looked very much like something that I might see in Painkeep Arena. If this was coverted over to that mod, I'm sure it would be a hit!Not registered

I agree with pjw. This is an outstanding playing FFA map, and the looks are pretty good too. :) I now just want to see a Shadowdane q3 map dressed in a custom texture set. :)Not registered

thx.. I thought It turned out pretty good for my first map for Q3. But Ive started work on my next map, it should have a much nicer layout. Should be a bit better for CPM too. :)Not registered

Just surprised that this map hasn't gotten any comments yet. This is an outstanding FFA map--lots of great connectivity, fun layout, and really nice clean looks. Not registered

Oh, and while this might be the author's first Q3 map, it certainly isn't his first map. :)
Nice job Shadowndane!
