This map makes me bleed....
Gameplay is fast, sickingly.
(try it with 3 alliance bots)
Heads Up, all the time :)
The Alliance Mod fits these maps
more than excellent!
Offhand grapple and it's xtreme botplay on Hq maps :)

Still playing and enjoying the hell out of this one many weeks later. Rushed or not, it's a gem...and makes one wish for more maps like it.Not registered

On the orginal maps I had about 80 fps and on this one I had 110 fps!!
So it's not a big diffrence!

thanx for the kind words. to put it bluntly, this map was extreemly rushed. i had the layout and design done by the end of october, but had no s3tc textures. i didn't get said textures till after xmas, which of course is exam time. so this left me about 3 days to texture, clip, add detail (*ahem*) etc. it's shame, but that's the way RL goes i guess. Not registered

Personally, I liked "Q3 Addiction" better than this map.
I spotted at least 2 or 3 overlapping brushes and a lot of texture alignment problems.
I am wondering if the S3 team was part of some sort of government testing to see how well mappers work under the influance of crack!
I dunno, not what i was expecting, but not horrible as far as gameplay. Not registered

yes, we were pushed for time. not to mention the hardware limitations we were working with... when it takes 5-10 mins for the map to load in q3r and you're testing your latest compile at a mere 2fps (with all graphics settings low, INCLUDING vertex lighting), you tend to miss a few things (or you really lose interest and just want to get rid of the goddamned thing). Still, a quite enjoyable experience (*cough*).Not registered

The missing clip brushes (on walls and details) left me feeling this map was a bit rushed, maybe Peej was pushed for time? Not registered

Impressive map, great for 2-5 people. I like that each room has multiple levels within sight of eachother. One thing though, in most of the rooms you can rocket jump out and onto the top of the level, and then camp that room from outside. A bit weird, I thought. The overall feel of the map is pretty neat, and I love the sky.Not registered

Beautiful and cool. Peej has developed quite a unique style -- one that carries off the convincing illusion that you are in a real place some twisted mind concocted. It's the difference between feeling you're in just another DM level and *believing* in the surroundings, if you know what I mean. And the machinery hanging from the ceiling is a grotesque treat! Best of the S3 series. Not registered

Pretty cool map. Some interesting architecture ideas and a great layout. The clip brush action was a bit spotty though..kinda wierd. Not registered
