This tribute to Q3Tourney3 (one of my personal favourites) gets the job done.
The main addition is that of a third level, adding some much needed vertical
action to the original. The texturing is quite nice - with the noticeable exception
of an over-used red trim that becomes overwhelming. Unfortunate ... keep reading

Parts of this level are working well with good ideas and game play but the maze of corridors breaks the overall flow. The author has been improving steadily which each level release and this one is clearly their best work to date. With a stronger, quicker layout the map would have been a lot better. One way ... keep reading

A simple layout of 3 connected arenas decked out in grunge tech style. The layout is pretty well connected and there are no real problems with the placement of items or health. The biggest problem is the architectural details that everywhere stick out from the walls. These vertical features and structural sup ... keep reading

Solid, blocky architecture with a simple tech theme. The layout is mostly horizontal with two main rooms and wrapping corridors. The map is bigger than it seems on first impressions playing better with 3 or 4 players than a 1on1. Game play is a little dry as some of the connections are quite long. Vertical cl ... keep reading

A two floor symmetrical level with low ceilings and predictable game play. Fighting on the stairs around the centrally located Rail gun is possibly the best part of the map. The items could have benefited from more consideration and play testing. The texturing is fairly simple but consistent. Bots get about f ... keep reading

Three levels in one pk3, a CTF, DM and a DM with BFG. The BFG version is possibly the best for texturing, lighting and fun factor. The layout is pretty much a box map with three *rooms*, a series of jump pads, and some scaffolding. The CTF version is the same x2. Game play is kind of fun for a short while but ... keep reading

This one comes in two flavours; DM and CTF. The game play on the DM is pretty dull, the map has bad game flow and poor connectivity. The CTF map is a little more interesting but it still suffers from the same connectivity issues. The sunken pit for the flag itself is nice, but the flag room is pretty easy to ... keep reading

Symmetrical open layout map with fairly good connectivity between two main arenas. The architecture is over two main floors creating some fun vertical action. Texturing and lighting is well suited to the theme and consistent throughout the level. The biggest problem is the over abundance of health and the ite ... keep reading

A large disjointed level that feels like it was made up of a series of small arenas, which is exactly how it plays. The construction is solid, its just missing in overall game play. The theme is consistent, although there are a few minor texturing problems. Bots play ok, nothing more. Map 2 of the Retribution ... keep reading

An overly complex series of walkways, ledges and ramps for what is essentialy a symmetrical box map. The texturing is a big improvement on the author's earlier level. Lighting is a little dark. Bots play fine.
Ok for a short while. ... keep reading

An ugly box map with bad architecture. The texturing is shocking with a mixture of wood on one side and metal on the other. The thin, steep ramps on a stone floor just looks wrong. Game play, on the other hand is a kind of interesting at least for a while in 1on1 matches. Bots
play fine.

A space map dominated by four large platforms moving steadily up and down in the middle. The constant shifting in the center creates an odd sense of urgency , a bit like shooting plastic ducks in a sideshow alley. The BFG is just three bounces away, grab it and then take out everything in sight.
Played be ... keep reading
