While heffalump may have used "the longest yard" as his base this map plays nothing like it. Accelerator pads require a bit of thought to use successfully - combining strafing and mouselook as part of landing a successful jump and rocket jumping off of certain bounce pads will help you to obtain the 2 MH perched on the floating boulders that support the map. While the egyptian theme may not be for everyone Sock's textures have been blessed - as they almost always get used on high calibre maps - and their presence is usually always a useful guide in the decision making process when downloading maps. If one has to reduce this map to simply a q3dm17 conversion then you can say this is the best of them. A top notch space map. PS: the custom bots have been optimised to play well on this map and for this the author should also be commended.

i been playing this map on the quake3world OSP server for a while now, and i think its good.

the portals fixwed dm17's gameplay problems because now every match doesnt end up with people sniping at each other from the shotgun platforms.

bizkit is full of crap.
