The idea behind the bouncepads that send you way t00 high or just a little high is that I somehow wanted to create some air battle in the map.

The angled bounce pads and the water pool are just decisions one makes. They kill/break the constant running around a little.

My experience with 'runnning like water' maps is that when you are constantely just running in circles shooting people, you get bored pretty soon. (You should consider that a personal opinion.)

Thanks for the underbuild comments, I am always looking for improvements. (For future maps that is :] )

I liked the hail of rockets and I agree that this map is cool for rail practise. However, it's just the little details that are bugging me about this map....the angled bouncepads that take you across the map (grabbing the YA). I didn't care for the fact I had to jump at it. I also thought some of your other bouncepads sent you a little high and didn't seem to have a direction (going just straight up).

I also didn't understand why you had a water pool on a rail only map (the old saying about shooting fish in a barrel comes to mind)

Not my kinda fun.

<a href="home.soneraplaza.n...aps/ondadm1.zip" target="_blank">home.soneraplaza.n...aps/ondadm1.zip</a> (Complete download +ondadm1.arena -file (1Mb))

Also check <a href="home.soneraplaza.n...e/simpro/music/" target="_blank">home.soneraplaza.n...e/simpro/music/</a> for the music plugins. ;]

There are only 4 but I will upload some more when time comes.

Go to www.planetquake.com/turkey they have a program called arenamaster that will write .arena files for you, its very useful and simple to use.

No .arena file makes this level difficult to paly. I will add one to the one on my computer this afternoon though.

I think the level looks nice, but its very strange when it comes to gameplay. The jump pads that are off the level ang the rl bombardment trap is an oringal touch, but don't really fit into the gameplay.

While your at it, start using cookies so it's harder for people to spam maps with bad votes in the top ten sections.

.arena files are text files that tell q3 that a map is supposed to appear skirmish menu.

--now for what i came here for--

sorry for this being off topic but i think that LvL should get its own UBB so that ppl can bs about custom maps and other kinda stuff that they feel is interesting.

--as for the map--

i havent downloaded it, and just used this space to send my message out, but i will download it, and let you know what i think...

thank you

The blue teles do make for a good "WTF moment".

OK map... fine for what it is. No .arena file, shame.
