Tribal by ROODOG is different paced from what mappers have been
making for a long time. There are mappers that make arena's with a good layout
for gameplay, and sometimes there are mappers that create levels based on
something that carries other ideas behind the map that make you like it from
the first t ... keep reading

This reminded me of Castle Wolfenstein immediately. I figured it out after
I seen about 5 different scenes from Wolf and decided that the author took some
of the parts of RTCW out to make a nearly halfway decent level to frag away on.
I don't like the layout one bit. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that t ... keep reading

Roodog is a mate of mine, he got me to test this map with a few mate's. Well
its fun, fast and quite big so I would suggest at least 4 players. Best suited
to DM style of play. Overall, the map is well balanced, with a good flow. Each
section of the level has at least 1 good weapon to pick up. I like one ... keep reading

Aside from the level consuming repetition of the same stone texture, random
lighting and the most confusing maze like layout ever played, it's actually
quite fun for some strange reason. The map is quite large, consisting of two
levels: running around within the jagged maze-like walls and running around on ... keep reading

Wolfenwinter apparently is themed somewhere around the WWII time period where
"The arena lords are now in control of the fortress where battles to
the death are staged on a regular basis". I'm still not quite sure
what "arena lords" are, but it's an interesting tag line. This map
has a sort of Wolfenstien ... keep reading

Bumboklaat is a terrain map, according to the author.
It can also be classified to space map in terms of its play style.
Theme seems to be a chaotic hell or just chaos.
At first glance this level looks rough, with large scale geometry.
It seems the author is confident about
his mapping approach and had ... keep reading

My first spawn I grabbed a Grenade Launcher and touched what I thought was a
wall. Wrong! I was teleported into a lava filled cage from which there is no
escape. Not a great start and it doesn't get much better.
Essentially it's a box map with gimmicks. Get the BattleSuit, go through the
Teleport, get t ... keep reading
